Human Translation, Editing, and Proofreading (TEP)
Optimal for public-facing documents, signage, employee handbooks, and marketing materials
A human translator will complete the entire translation process. This service is ideal for projects that are client-facing, such as marketing material. This tends to be more expensive than machine translation with human post-editing.

Translation prices can vary greatly, which is why we need information about your request. Prices can vary based on language, length, complexity, urgency, and format of the original document.
Translation prices are usually based on word count or type of project. Please note that some projects may require a deposit/partial prepayment.
We will start the project!
Once your project has been approved, we will start translating! After the process has been started, if you have any questions regarding your translation, you can contact your translation project manager for more information. Please note that to save money on your project, it is best to send us the final version of the source text to avoid any project change fees.

Translation FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a translator and an interpreter?
A translator conveys written messages from one language into another. An interpreter conveys spoken or signed messages from one language into another. Sometimes the word “translator” is used for both, but be sure you know the difference, so that we can provide the services you need.
How long will it take to translate my project?
Our translators can translate between 2000 to 3000 words per day, on average. Technical or specialized content may take more time.
We add additional time for proofreading and editing, usually about half the time for translating, depending on the project. Be sure to send us your translation projects as early as possible, so that we can help meet your deadlines.
Please note that by sending your document to us as a Word doc (not a PDF file), you can save precious time and money. There is no simple, one-step process to convert PDF files to Word, short of re-creation, which would be an additional charge to the client.
