Scheduled Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) is available in multiple languages. This involves using a platform such as Zoom to invite an interpreter or team of interpreters to convey your verbal message into a spoken language or American Sign Language.

Midwest Language Services, LLC provided ASL (American Sign Language) interpreters for the 2021 Virtual NASA Exploration Science Forum & European Lunar Symposium. This was the first time NASA and provided accessibility of to the deaf and hard-of-hearing in this way.

  • We also provide scheduled VRI and on-demand VRI for multiple school meetings in a variety of languages.

  • For special events and for assignments lasting longer than two hours, we assign two interpreters to ensure the best possible experience for attendees.

  • To help ensure we have someone available for your online event or appointment, please contact us as early as possible.

  • Scheduled Video Remote Interpreting is billed by the hour, per interpreter, and may include preparation time for the interpreter(s), depending on the complexity of the event.


On-demand Video Remote Interpreting (VRI)

  • Have access to interpreters of over 200 languages 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year long.

  • Pay only for the minutes used.

  • This is a convenient solution for offices that have clients from multiple languages and cultures.

  • On-demand VRI is useful when your clients and people with limited English proficiency are onsite at your location and a live-interpreter is unavailable.
