Cancellation Policy for Interpreting Assignments

Interpreters are in high demand for their services, whether they be spoken language interpreters or sign language interpreters. For that reason, Midwest Language Services, LLC must enforce a cancellation policy to ensure that interpreters are paid for the time they have reserved for your appointment and for missed opportunities to accept appointments for other clients.

Our agency realizes that sometimes people do not show up for their appointments. It is incumbent upon the client to call or send a reminder to the non-native English speaker to help ensure that they arrive promptly for their appointment on the assigned day at the correct time. (If you would like for us to help you with this, please let us know and we may be able to create a script for you to use in the language you need.)

The cancellation policy is that if an appointment is cancelled within a 48 hour time frame of the appointed time, an invoice for the full amount (a minimum of two hours) will be issued, not including mileage.

Please let us know if you have further questions and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to working with you
